Reminder: Apply to the DACF CARES Act E-Commerce Reimbursement Program (CFDA# 21.019) Today!

The program is open to Maine farm businesses that have incurred unanticipated expenses directly related to e-commerce infrastructure purchases or subscriptions between March 1 and December 18, 2020.

This is a reimbursement program (up to $5,000 per applicant) covering costs including but not limited to:

  • Online sales management platforms;
  • Online payment processing subscription/services;
  • Order processing and fulfillment software;
  • Website design/customization

Common Applicant Questions

Q: Can I apply for this program if I have received other CARES/federal funding?
A: Yes, you are eligible to apply for the E-Commerce Reimbursement Program if you have received other federal funding; however, receipts/expenses submitted cannot have been covered by any other funding source.

Q: Can I apply for both the E-Commerce Reimbursement Program and the CARES Agriculture & Food Processing Infrastructure Program?
A:
Yes, as long as you are submitting different receipts/expenses to each program, so that there is no funding duplication. For example, if you submitted $1,000 in e-commerce platform costs to the E-Commerce Reimbursement Program, you could not submit those same expenses to the Agriculture & Food Infrastructure Program.

Q: When is the program’s application deadline?
A: The application deadline is Friday, December 18.
