MCTA Hosts “Cowboys and Christmas Trees” National Summer Meeting

RCTB is grateful to the Michigan Christmas Tree Association and Dutchman Tree Farms for hosting the 2025 National Summer meeting. It was a great opportunity for RCTB to meet with growers from around the nation to discuss the challenges they are facing and new opportunities they have identified. On Thursday evening, the RCTB, NCTA and Christmas Spirit Foundation boards met for dinner and conversation — moments like these are important as working together will better help us serve the needs of our growers. The RCTB supported the NCTA on an interview showcasing the real Christmas tree industry. RCTB provided b-roll video for NCTA’s Executive Director Rick Dungey’s interview with Accuweather TV.

RCTB also would like to congratulate the growers recognized during the National Christmas Tree Contest.

Seeking Hosts for Virtual Farm Tours

Are you interested in working with RCTB as a host for a future Virtual Farm Tour? RCTB is seeking locations and willing hosts for two tours this November. We provide the technology and team to coordinate these tours, and hosts act as our tour guides and answer student questions in real time.

We plan to host one tour from the eastern or central time zones, and one tour from the Pacific time zone. If you are interested and would like to learn more, please email us and tell us a bit about your farm: info@realchristmastreeboard.org.
