Greetings from Holmes Tree Farm, where the perfect Christmas tree for you and your family is waiting for you to choose it. We are a family owned and operated, 75-acre farm (30 acres planted in Christmas trees – approximately 30,000 trees) located in a rural setting in beautiful Kennebunk, ME. A visit to our farm offers you an opportunity to share in a complete Christmas experience. Explore the farm and choose your own tree to cut, or pick one from our ”ready cut” display. We offer Balsam wreaths in many sizes, garland, kissing balls, and other greenery. After you’ve chosen your greens and tree, visit our Country Christmas gift shop which features Maine made gifts and ornaments, for some free hot cider brewing on our woodstove. Visit Santa in his Christmas shack on weekends, where the children will have a chance to talk to him and receive a free Candy Cane (be sure to bring your camera, as he loves to have his picture taken with the kids!). Purchase a hotdog and drink from our hotdog wagon available on the weekends. We will loan you a saw with which to cut your tree, do free bailing of the tree, and our workers will assist you in getting it onto your car roof (bring bungees or rope for tying on). Driving Directions:
Directions to our farm: Find the Dairy Queen on Main St. (Route #1) in downtown Kennebunk. At the DQ, turn onto Rte# 9A West. Go straight out 9AW until you cross over the turnpike. Take the immediate right onto McGuire Rd. Travel about 50 yds. on McGuire and turn right onto Whitten Rd. Travel about one-half a mile on Whitten. You’ll see us on the right- big red farm house and barn; sign in front yard. Open 9-4 Everyday except Mondays the day after Thanksgiving through Christmas Eve.
